The 2026 Triumph TF 250-X boasts sharper power delivery, refined suspension, and a striking new look, making it the ultimate package for serious racers and discerning riders alike.

2026 Triumph TF 250-X Powertrain: Tuned for Domination
Under the tank of the 2026 Triumph TF 250-X is a high-performance, 249.95cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine that cranks out 47.3 horsepower at a thrilling 13,500 rpm. Triumph refined the airflow dynamics with an all-new airbox and silencer designed to meet FIM and AMA noise regulations while boosting engine efficiency and preserving that aggressive Triumph growl. A new Exedy clutch increases torque capacity and durability under race conditions, while updated ECU mapping sharpens throttle response across the powerband.
The engine architecture includes Del West titanium valves, a forged aluminum König piston, and diamond-like carbon (DLC) coated internals for reduced friction and maximum durability. Lightweight magnesium covers keep mass to a minimum, while the Dell’Orto 44mm throttle body and Athena ECU with GET Power Assist ensure laser-precise throttle response.

Riders can further fine-tune performance with the optional MX Tune Pro app, giving access to real-time mapping, diagnostics, and engine monitoring. Clutchless upshifts from 2nd to 5th gear are effortless thanks to a 5-speed gearbox paired with a Brembo hydraulic quickshifter.

The 2026 Triumph TF 250-X is built on a lightweight aluminum spine frame paired with a hydroformed swingarm. It delivers class-leading power-to-weight performance and optimal chassis flex for traction and control. KYB 48mm AOS coil spring forks with forged and machined 7075-T6 aluminum triple clamps lead the way up front, offering 12.2 inches of travel. Out back, a KYB piggyback shock with high- and low-speed compression and rebound adjustability gives 12.0 inches of travel. Whether it’s berm blasting or rhythm sections, the TF 250-X delivers confidence-inspiring stability and responsiveness.
2026 Triumph TF 250-X Style and Stopping Power
A fresh, aggressive graphics package headlines the 2026 visual update, with Triumph Performance Yellow in-mold decals that give the bike a bold, race-ready presence. But it’s not all flash—serious stopping power backs up the style. A Brembo braking system features twin 24mm front caliper pistons with a 260mm Galfer wave disc, and a single 26mm rear caliper with a 220mm disc, providing consistent and controlled braking in all conditions.

Wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion MX32 mid-soft tires, DirtStar 7000 Series aluminum rims with machined hubs keep the rubber planted. ProTaper ACF carbon core handlebars and ODI lock-on grips round out the cockpit with factory-spec comfort and control.

Racers will appreciate the integrated electronics suite, including Launch Control, Traction Control, Dual Engine Maps, a sensor dashboard, and an integrated hour meter. Riders can tailor their setup via handlebar controls or the optional MX Tune Pro Wi-Fi module.
