The AMB 002 Roadster marks a genuine milestone for Aston Martin: the first motorcycle from its partnership with Brough Superior that you could actually ride to work, not just around a closed circuit. That distinction matters more than it might sound like at first. Limited to 300 units with deliveries beginning Q3 2027, the AMB 002 Roadster is aimed squarely at what Aston Martin calls “discerning road riders and automotive collectors.”
Thierry Henriette, President of Brough Superior Motorcycles, described the sensation in almost aviation-like language. “The rider’s upright posture and the completely unobstructed field of vision combine to create a unique feeling of gliding above the road with absolute confidence and complete control,” Henriette said.

Why the AMB 002 Roadster Is a Different Kind of Aston Martin
Everything before this was track-only. The AMB 001, launched in 2019 and capped at 100 units, and the AMB 001 Pro that followed in 2022 with a claimed 221.9bhp, both existed purely as showcases, halo machines built to prove what the partnership could do rather than something an owner could park in a garage and drive to dinner.
Collectors bought into the idea of the partnership as much as the bikes themselves, since neither was built for daily use.
Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer, described the road-going bike as a long-held ambition finally realized. “It was always a long-term dream to make an Aston Martin motorcycle for the road,” Reichman said.
Stefano Saporetti, Aston Martin’s Director of Brand Diversification, framed the partnership itself as having proven its worth well beyond a one-off collaboration. “The commercial journey from our first limited run to our current portfolio proves that the appetite for Aston Martin’s design language extends far beyond four wheels,” Saporetti said.


The AMB 002 Roadster’s Design and Engineering
At its heart sits an all-new 1083cc water-cooled V-twin producing 130bhp and 81.2 lb-ft of torque, designed and hand-assembled at Brough Superior’s Toulouse workshop rather than sourced out. That in-house build process is a point of pride for Brough Superior specifically, a small manufacturer competing against much larger companies that typically outsource engine production entirely.
It sits within a billet titanium frame that doubles as the bike’s structural spine, milled from solid billet and weighing just 5kg, helping the AMB 002 hit a claimed 50:50 weight distribution at a total curb weight of 190kg.
Carbon-fiber bodywork and a carbon fuel tank keep the center of gravity low, and the bike’s distinctive Fior front suspension, a double-wishbone design carried over from the AMB 001 Pro, separates steering and braking forces for stability that a conventional telescopic fork can’t quite match.


The AMB 002 Roadster carries the same design language that’s made Aston Martin’s own exhibits worth crossing a museum floor for, translated onto two wheels for the first time. It’s a natural extension of the sculptural, exclusivity-driven approach the brand has already applied to machines like the Valkyrie, now stretched to a segment Aston Martin has never fully committed to before.
Pricing hasn’t been confirmed, though the AMB 001 launched north of $100,000, and a run this limited rarely comes in cheaper than its predecessor.
Two track-only halo bikes bought Aston Martin and Brough Superior the credibility to attempt this. Whether the AMB 002 becomes the moment this partnership starts building bikes people actually ride, rather than machines that exist mainly to be photographed, is the more interesting question than anything on its spec sheet.
