G-SHOCK x J Balvin Ma G Watch Collaboration

Dubbed the Ma G-SHOCK, the limited-edition G-SHOCK x J Balvin Watch—model DWE5600JB1A9—is G-SHOCK’s first-ever partnership with Latin artist, J Balvin. making its debut on January 27, 2025.

Hailing from Medellín, Colombia, J Balvin has redefined global music, earning accolades like multiple Billboard Music Awards, four Latin Grammys, and a Grammy nomination. Beyond his musical achievements, Balvin is a passionate advocate for mental health in the Latino community. In 2024, he launched Vita Veloce Team, a creative design studio dedicated to visionary projects like the Ma G-SHOCK. Balvin views the watch as a symbol of empowerment and resilience, embodying the very spirit of G-SHOCK.

The watch comes with interchangeable bands and bezels, offering eight customizable design options in sleek black and electric yellow colorways. The face is adorned with J Balvin’s signature lightning bolt motif and features unique handwritten function descriptions in Spanish.

The G-SHOCK x J Balvin Ma G incorporates G-SHOCK’s toughness with advanced features. It is shock-resistant and built with a Carbon Core Guard Structure and is water resistant to 200m. Practical functions include a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and a multi-function alarm. The watch also features a Super Illuminator LED light, ensuring enhanced visibility even in low-light conditions. It supports both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats and includes a full auto calendar.  

The G-SHOCK x J Balvin Ma G watch will retail for $230 and is available for pre-order at G-SHOCK.COM and J BALVIN SHOP. Beginning January 27, 2025, fans and collectors can purchase it through select retailers, online, and the G-SHOCK Soho store.
