Shelby GT350 and Shelby GT350R

Shelby American has done it again, marking the 60th anniversary of the legendary Shelby GT350 with an unforgettable relaunch. Unveiled at the Barrett-Jackson stage in Scottsdale, Arizona, the 2025 Shelby GT350 and its track-ready sibling, the Shelby GT350R, promise to deliver the most powerful and exhilarating performance in the model’s history in tribute to Carroll Shelby’s legacy.

The 2025 Shelby GT350, powered by a 5.0L V8, is a street-focused fastback that arrives in two versions: a naturally aspirated 480-horsepower model or an 810-horsepower supercharged beast. Available with manual or automatic transmissions, the GT350 boasts upgrades to its suspension, exhaust, and aerodynamics, ensuring it lives up to its iconic name. Prices begin at $109,999 for the supercharged version.

The 2025 Shelby GT350R is limited to only 36 units. This 830-plus horsepower weapon is available only with a six-speed manual transmission. Featuring a lightweight carbon fiber interior, a roll cage, and ProSystems Alcon racing brakes, the GT350R is built for serious track warriors. It also includes a Trans Am spec aero package and fully adjustable suspension to deliver unparalleled handling and control. Shelby’s collaboration with Turn Key Automotive/Motorsports ensures that this model is as competitive on the track as it is stunning.

In addition to the street and track versions, Shelby American is developing a Trans Am-spec race car in partnership with Turn Key Automotive. This car is set to make its competitive debut in the 2026 Trans Am season, marking Shelby’s return to professional racing.

To honor the original 1965 production numbers, Shelby will produce only 562 Shelby GT350s in 2025, including 36 GT350R models. Production begins in the second quarter, with street cars available through select Ford dealers and Shelby distributors worldwide. Each car will be documented in the official Shelby Registry, cementing its place in automotive history.
