From its muscular yet refined aesthetics to the roaring V4 Granturismo engine, the Ducati XDiavel V4 is designed to dominate the streets with style and authority. Underneath the striking 5.3-gallon fuel tank lies the beating heart of the Ducati XDiavel V4—the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine. Producing 168 horsepower and 126 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm, this engine provides blistering acceleration and an exhilarating riding experience. Borrowing its counter-rotating crankshaft from Ducati’s MotoGP machines, the V4 Granturismo reduces the gyroscopic effect, improving agility and making the bike feel surprisingly nimble for its size. Long-term reliability is also a key feature, with valve clearance checks required only at 60,000 km—a benchmark for efficiency.

Visually, the Ducati XDiavel V4 is a showstopper. It’s available in two exclusive colors—Burning Red ($28,995) and Black Lava ($29,295)—both with metallic finishes that add depth and character to the bike’s already commanding presence. The design draws inspiration from the aggressive stance of American muscle cars, with a single-sided aluminum swingarm showcasing the massive 240-section rear tire wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso III rubber. Completing the visual impact are quad titanium end-capped exhausts, which deliver a satisfying growl that is unmistakably Ducati.

Weighing 505 pounds, the Ducati XDiavel V4 sheds 13 pounds compared to its predecessor, the XDiavel 1260 S. This weight reduction, paired with fully adjustable 50 mm front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension, ensures excellent handling on both city streets and open highways. Brembo provides the braking power, with dual 330 mm semi-floating rotors clamped by Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers up front, and a single 265 mm rotor at the rear with a two-piston floating caliper for controlled stopping power.

Replacing the belt drive found on earlier XDiavel models, the V4 switches to a chain-driven system with a 16-tooth front and 43-tooth rear sprocket configuration. This move not only enhances performance but also aligns with the sportier intent of the bike. Riders can further personalize their experience with the Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 system, offering seamless gear changes for spirited or relaxed riding.

Advanced electronics elevate the Ducati XDiavel V4 to another level. Three Power Modes and four Riding Modes—Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet—allow riders to tailor the bike’s performance to different conditions. The six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) adds safety features like cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and launch control for optimal performance and rider confidence.

The high-tech cockpit is anchored by a 6.9-inch TFT display with an 8:3 aspect ratio—the same found on the Ducati Panigale V4. This screen offers smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth, allowing riders to access calls, music, and turn-by-turn navigation through the Ducati Link App. Backlit handlebar controls ensure easy access to all functions, even in low-light conditions.

Comfort has not been overlooked in the Ducati XDiavel V4. The redesigned seat, with a 30.3-inch height, offers greater support for both rider and passenger. Rear suspension travel has been increased by 25 mm for improved comfort on longer rides. Ducati also offers a range of Performance parts, from semi-rigid 48-liter panniers to upgraded seats and customizable accessories, making it easy for riders to configure the XDiavel V4 to their liking.
