The CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series is a 685-horsepower, 26-unit farewell that doubles as a beginning — Cadillac’s most powerful production car ever, built to mark the brand’s inaugural Formula 1 season and the final chapter for the Blackwing super-sedan simultaneously. Unveiled at the Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series runs a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with an upgraded blower developed by GM Motorsports, a six-speed manual as the only transmission option, and a monochromatic design language that mirrors the Cadillac F1 team livery. Twenty-six cars for the 2026 season. Production begins mid-year.
Under the Hood of the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series
The standard CT5-V Blackwing already makes 668 horsepower from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8. The CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series pushes that to 685 horsepower and 673 pound-feet of torque — a new production record for an internal-combustion Cadillac, surpassing even the Escalade-V. The gain comes from an upgraded supercharger developed in collaboration with GM Motorsports, and the aluminum cover carries a CNC-machined F1 logo that separates it visually from every other Blackwing built.
Every CT5-V Blackwing F1 ships with the six-speed manual — no automatic option exists — and the Precision Package comes standard, adding a revised suspension with a new front sway bar, recalibrated front and rear springs, and upgraded suspension links. The CT5-V Blackwing platform has already proven itself as one of the most capable rear-drive sedans on the market, and the F1 Collector Series dials every parameter tighter.
Design and Interior of the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series
The CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series wears Midnight Stone Frost paint — Cadillac’s matte black — across a fully monochromatic exterior that echoes the F1 team livery. Carbon Flash wheels and edition-exclusive Harbor Gray brake calipers fill the wheel wells, with glossy carbon fiber lower bodywork set off by a precisely applied silver pinstripe. Inside, the monochromatic treatment continues with black leather seats, white stitching and white seat piping, “F1” embossed headrests, an FIA logo on the center console, and a 3D-printed F1 logo on the shift knob. The design philosophy is restraint — every F1 element is placed with intention rather than plastered for effect.
Only 26 of the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series Will Exist
GM President Mark Reuss described each of the 26 vehicles as curated to be a centerpiece in any collection and a true celebration of Cadillac’s new era in Formula 1. At an anticipated price point well above the standard Blackwing’s $102,795 base — with reports suggesting $260,000 — the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series is positioned as both a driver’s car and a future collectible.
The six-speed manual, the GM Motorsports supercharger, the edition-exclusive cosmetics, and the fact that both the CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing models end production in 2026 make this the last and most powerful word in the V-Series lineage. Cadillac’s F1 team runs Ferrari power units for 2026 and 2027 before switching to GM-developed engines from 2028. The CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series is available in the U.S. and Canada beginning mid-2026. More information at cadillac.com.
