A 1997 Porsche 911 GT1 Rennversion, Chassis 993-GT1-108, will be auctioned at the 2024 Broad Arrow Monterey Auction. This iconic car, estimated to be worth between $8,500,000 and $10,500,000, is highly revered in motorsport. Chassis 993-GT1-108 is one of only nine customer GT1s ever produced, making it a rare find for Porsche collectors.

The car has an impressive racing history. It was the lead car for the German Roock Racing Team in the 1997 FIA GT Championship and participated in the 1997 Le Mans 24 Hours. It also clinched the 1997 U.S. PSCR season title, triumphing in the IMSA GTS-1 class championship with four victories. This GT1 is part of the esteemed Drendel Collection, adding to its prestigious provenance.
