Ducati pays homage to Ayrton Senna with a collector’s limited edition Monster. This exclusive bike, limited to 341 units, celebrates the legendary Formula 1 driver and his profound connection to Ducati.
The Ducati Senna Monster, designed by Centro Stile Ducati in collaboration with Senna Brands, features colors reminiscent of the Brazilian flag, honoring Senna’s legacy. The bike’s production number, 341, symbolizes Senna’s three World Titles and 41 Grand Prix victories.
Presented at the Formula 1 Grand Prix at Imola, the Senna Monster was unveiled by Claudio Domenicali, Bianca Senna, and Stefano Domenicali. This event underscored the historical relationship between Ducati and Senna, dating back to 1990 when Senna was gifted a Ducati 851 SP by Claudio Castiglioni, then owner of Ducati. This collaboration continued with the Ducati 916 Senna, a project Senna personally contributed to before his tragic accident in 1994.
The Monster Senna embodies the spirit of Ducati and Senna with a 937 cc Testastretta 11° engine producing 111 horsepower. It features Öhlins suspension, forged aluminum wheels, and Brembo Stylema® front calipers, ensuring top-tier performance and handling. The bike’s unique aesthetics include a yellow/green/blue tag on the rims, yellow brake calipers, and Termignoni homologated carbon fiber silencers. Each motorcycle is distinguished by a plaque on the triple clamp with its model name and number, a certificate of authenticity, and a dedicated motorcycle cover.
The Ducati Monster Senna also includes advanced technology and safety features such as ABS Cornering, DTC, DWC, and Launch Control. The bike’s ergonomics are enhanced with a sports seat, adjustable Öhlins steering damper, and a 4.3-inch color TFT instrument panel with gear and fuel level indicators.
