Bentley Continental GT S and GTC S: A Supersports Attitude
The new S models land in a sweet spot where grand touring luxury doesn’t dilute the driver’s seat experience. With the launch of the Continental GT S and GTC S, Bentley is widening the Continental line-up with a package inspired by the limited-edition Supersports, built around driver focus and more agile handling. The result is a Bentley Continental GT that looks sharper, feels more purposeful, and backs it all up with real numbers that put the “S” badge in a new light.
Bentley calls these fourth-generation S cars the fastest and most powerful to wear the S designation, and the stats support it. At 680 PS and 930 Nm, this is the most potent S model yet—up by 130 PS and 160 Nm over the previous generation S models. In real-world terms, that means a Bentley Continental GT with the kind of instant, effortless thrust that makes back roads feel shorter and highway passing feel like a flex. Bentley quotes 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds (0–100 km/h in 3.5) and a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h), which is serious pace for a car that still reads as a tailored suit on wheels.

Bentley Continental GT High Performance Hybrid: Big Power, Real Range
The headline change here isn’t just “more power,” it’s how Bentley is delivering it. The S specification pairs a High Performance Hybrid powertrain with the Continental GT Speed’s chassis technology, and Bentley positions it as a genuine engineering leap—so much so that it even outperforms the previous generation W12 Speed powertrain on power, torque, and performance parameters. That’s a bold comparison, and it matters because the W12 era set the tone for what enthusiasts expect from a flagship Bentley Continental GT: turbine-smooth force with zero drama.
Now the drama comes by choice—specifically through a sports exhaust that Bentley says brings out the aural charisma of the 4.0-liter crossplane V8. If you’ve ever wished a modern Bentley would let a little more attitude through the cabin, this is the kind of detail that changes the personality of the whole car. And because it’s a hybrid, the S models add a capability that would’ve sounded impossible back in the early Continental days: up to 50 miles (80 km) of pure electric driving. For the right owner, that’s the difference between silently slipping through town and then lighting the fuse the moment the road opens up—two moods, one Bentley Continental GT.

Bentley Continental GT Performance Active Chassis: The Driver’s Car Move
Power is only half the story, and Bentley didn’t treat the chassis like an afterthought. The S models get a chassis setup previously reserved for the Continental GT Speed and GT Mulliner, including Bentley Performance Active Chassis. That suite includes Active All-Wheel Drive, twin valve dampers, torque vectoring front-to-rear and across the axles, the 48V Bentley Dynamic Ride active anti-roll system, a new generation of ESC control software, and—importantly for the S badge—an electronic limited-slip differential and all-wheel steering, both appearing for the first time on a Continental GT S.
Bentley describes the way the car gives control back to the driver as you move through modes. With ESC fully engaged, it’s calibrated to keep things tidy by inhibiting oversteer. In Dynamic Mode, Bentley says the car allows a level of rear axle slip, letting the driver influence cornering attitude while keeping the confidence to pull it back in line when needed. And if you’re the kind of owner who wants the full experience, Bentley notes the ESC can be turned completely off—at which point the cornering stance can be balanced on-throttle for a more exhilarating, hands-on drive. That’s not a casual promise. That’s Bentley telling you this Bentley Continental GT was tuned to be enjoyed, not just admired.

Bentley Continental GT Design and Cabin: Blackline, Precision, and Purpose
Visually, the S models are designed to communicate intent before the engine even turns over. The Blackline Specification is central to the look, adding gloss black matrix grilles, a dark front lower spoiler, and black Bentley wings and BENTLEY lettering that sharpen the stance into something lean and potent.
Beluga black mirror caps, sill extensions, and a rear diffuser keep that theme consistent, while dark tint full LED matrix headlamps with Bentley’s Precision design detail are noted as a feature shared only with the GT Speed. Around back, the S specification includes dark tint taillamps and tailpipe finishers for the sports exhaust—small touches that, together, make this Bentley Continental GT feel more modern, more aggressive, and more aligned with the “sporting presence” Bentley is chasing.
The wheels help, too. A 22-inch ten swept-spoke alloy wheel comes standard in silver, but Bentley offers additional options, including a gloss black wheel with bright machined faces and a full gloss black version. It’s the kind of choice set that lets buyers dial the car toward stealth or statement without losing the underlying theme.

Inside, Bentley gives the S models a distinct identity rather than just an appearance package. The two-color upholstery split is unique to these cars, paired with a fluted seat design that Bentley says creates a purposeful, performance-focused environment. Dinamica technical fabric appears on key touchpoints—steering wheel, gear lever, seats, and door inserts—exactly where you’ll feel it most when you’re actually driving the car the way it was intended.
Piano Black veneer is standard, echoing the exterior Blackline theme, while high-gloss carbon fiber and other finishes are available if you want to lean harder into the performance vibe. Bentley also lists options like full leather upholstery and a dark tint chrome specification for interior brightwork, reinforcing that the Bentley Continental GT range is about personal values—wellness-focused Azure on one end, ultimate GT Speed performance on the other, and now the S models carving out a niche that prioritizes sheer enjoyment of driving.
The Continental GT S and GTC S arrive as newly launched additions that expand choice within the definitive grand tourer line, blending dramatic presence with a hybrid powertrain and the most driver-focused all-wheel-drive chassis setup Bentley has offered for these models.
