Honoring the Icon: The Spirit Behind the 911 GT3 90
Porsche has never been shy about commemorating its rich lineage, but the 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche is something else entirely. Limited to just 90 units worldwide, this collector’s edition is a heartfelt tribute to Ferdinand Alexander Porsche—the visionary who penned the original 911. Crafted by Porsche’s Sonderwunsch team in collaboration with his son, Mark Porsche, the 911 GT3 90 is an heirloom on wheels, embodying the design ethos and personal style of the man who gave the 911 its iconic shape.
The car’s F. A. Greenmetallic paint glinting under the Stuttgart sun is akin to peering into a time capsule. This exclusive hue, developed through the Paint to Sample Plus program, is inspired by the Oakgreenmetallic of F. A. Porsche’s own G-Series 911 from the 1980s. It’s a color that whispers nostalgia yet screams performance. The Sport Classic wheels in satin-gloss black—borrowed from the original Fuchs design—and the galvanised gold-plated “90 F. A. Porsche” badge on the grille lid elevate the experience. For collectors, this kind of detail isn’t a flourish—it’s the reason they buy.

Mark Porsche’s influence is felt throughout the 911 GT3 90. The interior features a bespoke Truffle Brown Club Leather offset by Chalk Beige stitching, while the seat center panels wear a multicolor F. A. Grid-Weave pattern reminiscent of his father’s favorite jacket. It’s an emotional touchpoint, and one that connects generations of Porsche passion with a single glance. Even the gear knob, carved from open-pore walnut plywood, feels like a piece of F. A.’s desk was transplanted into the cockpit.
Performance Meets Personality: Inside the 911 GT3 90
Under the heritage-heavy skin, the 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche doesn’t compromise on performance. Built atop the 911 GT3 with Touring Package, this edition uses Porsche’s snarling 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six. With 510 PS (approximately 503 horsepower) and 450 Nm of torque, it delivers what Porsche purists crave: unfiltered, analog power with razor-sharp precision. It’s mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK, depending on buyer configuration, but with this car, most enthusiasts will opt to row their own gears.

Porsche Design went deep to elevate the ownership experience. Each buyer receives a Chronograph 1 – 911 GT3 90 F. A. Porsche edition watch. Its luminous markers, black titanium case, and rotor inspired by the car’s wheels make it as much a timepiece as a tribute. The watch even bears F. A. Porsche’s initials and laser-engraved signature. Like the car itself, it balances function and emotion—hallmarks of the Porsche Design philosophy.
Also included: a Truffle Brown leather weekender bag featuring the same F. A. Grid-Weave fabric and Chalk Beige stitching found in the cabin. It’s not just luggage—it’s an extension of the car’s DNA. Porsche even brought back the Porsche Junior sled, limited to—you guessed it—90 units. Crafted from carbon fiber with a Kevlar core and painted in F. A. Greenmetallic, it’s a nostalgic nod to the toys of F. A.’s youth, now reimagined with 21st-century engineering.

With a production start in the second half of 2026 and orders opening in April, this 911 GT3 90 surpasses the concept of quantity. It’s about meaning. Every detail—from the walnut gear knob to the commemorative dashboard plaque marked “One of 90”—reminds the driver that this Porsche is the rolling legacy of the GT3.
