Yamaha has unveiled the 2025 XMAX Sport Scooter loaded with advanced features, refined engineering, and a sleek new design. Powering the performance of the 2025 XMAX Sport Scooter is a 292cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine housed inside a lightweight steel frame. This compact powerhouse offers impressive performance and fuel efficiency, earning up to 73 mpg. Paired with Yamaha’s Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), the XMAX delivers a smooth and responsive ride.
A 15-inch front wheel and 14-inch rear wheel are mated with Dunlop Scoot Smart tires. The ABS-equipped braking system includes 267mm front and 245mm rear rotors. Take note of the 2025 XMAX’s new electronically adjustable windscreen, providing nearly four inches of step-less vertical adjustment that can managed on the fly using a control switch on the left handlebar. The redesigned front end, complete with integrated turn signals and a restyled nose cowling, further reduces front-end wind play.
The 2025 XMAX Sport Scooter is equipped with refined traction control mapping, for smoother starts and sweetened acceleration on diverse road surfaces. This updated system works with sensors to detect wheel spin and adjust engine performance.
Yamaha has upgraded the XMAX’s instrument panel with a new integrated design featuring a 4.2-inch TFT screen and a 3.2-inch LCD. Enhanced LCD backlighting ensures clarity, whether you’re riding during the day or night.
The XMAX adds even more functionality for 2025 with a redesigned lightweight muffler that improves mass centralization and a new swingarm for better balance. A USB Type-C socket allows for device charging. Yamaha’s Y-Connect smartphone connectivity allows you to receive ride analytics, maintenance reminders, and notifications directly on your smart device.
Additional features include a premium sculpted comfort seat, adjustable handlebars with 20mm of rearward adjustment, and full LED lighting, including distinctive X-shaped headlights and taillights. The large underseat storage is both practical and spacious, accommodating a full-face helmet along with other essentials.
The 2025 XMAX Sport Scooter will be available in Midnight Black and is expected to arrive at Yamaha dealerships in March 2025, with an MSRP of $6,299.
