The Ariel Dash e-bike, manufactured by Ariel Motor Company, known for high-performance cars and motorcycles, represents a breakthrough in e-bike technology. The Dash e-bike features a multi-material frame made from 3D-printed titanium, titanium tubes, and carbon fiber, resulting in an overall weight of just 24 pounds. The construction ensures durability and enhances the bike’s performance and handling. The e-bike is powered by a 250W 55Nm Mahle hub motor integrated into the frame, providing up to 50 miles of range. A battery range extender is available for longer rides, boosting the range to 95 miles.

The Dash e-bike celebrates Ariel’s rich history, marking its return to bicycle manufacturing after 92 years. It also pays homage to the world’s first series production vehicle, the Ariel Ordinary, built in 1871.

Dash Urban and Adventure models are designed with distinct features to suit different riding styles. The Dash Urban is ideal for city commuting with a single-speed, belt-drive technology, offering a simple and smooth riding experience. The Dash Adventure features a 12-speed chain drive, built for versatility and to tackle a multitude of terrain.

Internal hiding of wiring, hydraulic hoses, and cables spotlights the frame’s design. This gives the bike a sleek, clean look and makes maintenance easier. The materials used in the frame, such as Reynolds 6-4Ti Seamless ELI titanium tubing and carbon fiber, provide a balance of strength, weight, and comfort.

The Ariel Dash e-bike also incorporates the “My Smartbike” app, which integrates all Dash functions, navigation, and performance logs. The app, available on Android and Apple devices, allows riders to control power delivery, track performance data, and access navigation features. Additionally, the app integrates with Strava, enabling riders to log their journeys, explore new routes, and participate in the Strava community.
